Bath time beauties

Since the colder weather has been slowly creeping up on us, I've been really into really relaxing baths at the dead of night, to wind me down ready for dream land. I have noticed there have been quite a few reoccurring products every time I want to have a wind down bath. So I thought id share them with you!

To prepare my bath I like to put the hot water on full blast and pour in a mix of two products; Radox bath smoothies in Sprit booster and the Soap and Glory calm one calm all bubble bath, I think the mix of these two products just gives a perfect amount of fruity scent of the Radox with balancing fragrance of the soap and glory. It mixes beautifully and gives a perfect amount of bubbles! soap and glory calm one calm all RRP: £9.99/Radox shower smoothie RRP: £3.99

While I'm drowning my troubles away amongst the bubbles I love using the Soap and Glory Clean on me body wash, as it's a great shaving cream too! RRP: £9.99 I then usually pamper myself by giving myself a nice facial and one of my all time favourites is the Montage Jeunesse face mask in anti stress mud pack, it's got a lovely cologne smell and it really helps to get rid of any under the spots that I get on my skin, RRP: £0.99!!! To take that mask off once it's dried out I like to take my well loved Emma Hardie cleansing balm and give myself a quick face massage! RRP: £35.99.

Once I've finished splashing around, I smother myself in a lovely rich body butter and a great one for the summer time that I've been obsessed with is (again) Soap and glory body butter in Orangasm (rude!) but oh how luxurious this feels! RRP: £10.99.

And that's about it really, nice simple products that really work well for me and really relaxes me after work!

Hope you enjoyed!

Top 5 candle scents | Autumn/Fall

It's come round to the time of year when it's starting to cool down, the leaves are turning brown and there is a definate smell of bon fires in the air. Since I can now whip out my favourite cardigans it's the perfect time to clean my room and make it smell all warm and cosy with my Yankee candle autumn scents.

Wild Fig - Probably the fruitiest fragrances in my autumn collection but it still has that slight hint of spice which makes it a great transition scent from summer to autumn!

Amber Moon - A definate night time fragrance with a undertone of jasmine and a lot of spices makes this a sexy tart perfect for the Halloween time.

Vanilla Chai - Who doesn't love the smell of spicy coffee in the afternoon? This fragrant tart is perfectly paired with a large mug of coffee and a good book!

Honey Glow - Again another sensual scent with lots of aroma therapy oils making a slight hint of that spa feeling.

Spiced Orange - A lovely clover scent to get you in the mood for Christmas, a great transition between autumn and winter, making you feel all warm and cosy inside.

The wax tarts from Yankee Candle are the best as you change them up whenever you want and there is such a huge range of them the value at a retail price of around £0.99 - £1.20 depending if they are the scent of the month or not. Or probably just as cheep on eBay if your struggling to find these near you! A cheap buy for a beautiful smelling room!

Hope you enjoyed!

Get Wii fit with me - Week 1

So for the past week or so I've been trying to cut down on the junk food, start eating more healthy and working out more. Now for about a month now my weight has ballooned up to 12 stone, which is for my height and age (6ft and 19) pretty bad, now it's more that I'm uncomfortable in my own skin being a little heavyer than it is looking fat and since I've rediscovered my old wii board I thought it was about time I got down to my comfortable weight and feel better in myself. So far I've been pretty good, I've documented my workout and here's how I've done on my first week.

Before I started anything I decided to bite the bullet and weigh myself first thing, I was shocked at the outcome but I felt more motivated to work out, so I guess it's a good thing in the long run! So since last time i put on 9lb so not a happy bunny by this point and I gave myself a target of losing a stone in 3 months, that's a pound a week!

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - I started off by really enjoying the more of the cardio/fat burning work outs, so I did a few of them and did a few sit ups for good measure in each day, and by the middles of the week I was obsessed with the hoola hooping and dance step.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday - having a full on work out at the start of the week, I decided to take it a little slower and gave yoga a go, to my supprise I really enjoyed it, it relaxed me and made me feel like i really stretched all my muscles so great for in the morning.

Sunday - As we all know I am still a dancer and I usually get dedicated most Sundays to do rehearsals for my dance company which I do for 6 hours, so I obviously count that as a good work out.

I've been eating really well this week too, snacking on a lot of fruit and drinking a whole lot of water and hopefully if I keep all this goodness up I may even loose the weight I want which is around my hips and thighs!

Hope you enjoyed my work out post!

Good night | My dream time essentials ❤️

Getting home after a long day at work, is probably my favorite time of day. I make this extra special and  enjoy it more when I can fully relax and chill out comfortably. One way to make sure your all 'zen'd out is to keep your place of rest (ie my bedroom) relaxing and pleasing to go into. I like to make sure my room is in immaculate condition by vacuuming and dusting regularly, and keeping candles handy and ready to light as I walk in. I keep candles at the high points of my room, to light the room fully without having a harsh celing light on. I usually light candles in the four corners of my room and on both my dressing table and bedside table.

Once I've gotten myself ready for a relaxing evening in my pjs, I like to make sure I've got all my essentials handy. Including 2 books one fact and one fiction (for veriety). The ones I'm currently in love with are all the Harry potter books (duh) and my 'bible' the Bobbie Brown Makeup manual (great read for both makeup artists and beginners alike). I also make sure I keep a ice cold bottle of water handy, because it's so easy to forget to hydrate yourself and wake up in the morning with rubbishy skin and the groggy feeling in your head. So don't forget to drink a bottle before bed! (But if you don't finish it during the night, drinking the rest in the , morning will really help to release toxins from your body and completely flush you out ready for the day ahead.

Another item I like to keep handy on my bedside table is the Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender eu de toilette as a pillow spray. It's super handy to have especially if you have trouble drifting off, the lovely smell of lavender on your pillow sheet really helps me to relax and wind down, so it's a deffinatly essential for me!

And last but not least I of course need to have my Hello Kitty slippers on just cause the cute and comfey... No other reason really!

Hope you enjoyed my essential bed time items.

Makeup brush disaster!

As a makeup fanatic, losing or breaking a makeup brush is a huge disaster and devistation. Especially when it is your favorite and most used brush. I bought these beauties from eBay, from the recommendation from Gabbs ie Velvetgh0st on YouTube, they seemed to be great quality brushes for the price. And they didn't feel cheep like most un-branded makeup brushes. I had them for around 6 months when the worst happend, the glue dissolved and the brush hairs started coming out! My worst nightmare.

After the unthinkable happend, I came to the conclusion that I should stop wasting money on cheep un-branded brushes and just save my spare cash to get good quality ones, such as Real Tecniques and Mac.

I wanted to write this little post just to warn you, if you were thinking of buying these brushes or any cheep makeup items. These are classed on eBay as 'Jessup makeup brushes' and they come in face and eye packs. You have been warned!

Post soon!
Love Danielle xoxo
