Mini Feel Unique haul {1}

Hello my lovelies,
So this morning I got visited by my lovely postman with a Feel Unique package full of wonderful goodies! First off I would like to point out that the sweet people at Feel Unique have packaged these products beautifully with millions of those styrafone nuggets that keep the products in place and out of harms way. So it was refreshing to know that my items where safely packaged throughout of their journey to my home. On to the products;

Firstly I recieved the oh so famous EMMA HARDIE AMAZING FACE CLEANSING BALM, due to the fact everyone and their mother is obsessed with the contents of this little pot I thought I would splurge on myself and buy the 100ml pot. Rrp £34.00 makes it a very expensive little pot of luxuries. First impression; it's a very highly scented balm of Moringa (obviously) so if you are one for no scents then this may bother you but for me it's fine, the texture of this balm is much different than what I was expecting, it's more of a hard soap texture than a 'balm' as it was described, but I'm very excited to try it out.

Next was the REDKEN EXTREME ANTI-SNAP SERIUM, RRP £14.75 250ml I'm super impressed with the size of this bottle as I was expecting something much smaller for the price, the scent again is quite powerful as is most of the Redken range, the texure feels very smooth and silky and I am hoping this will plump up my hair with moisture.

BIOTHERM BLUE THERAPY NIGHT OIL RRP £44.00 30ml (sample size) this was a sample I recieved from Feel Unique as one of their advent calendar freebies so I haven't done much research on this product but I'm interested to try it out, and I'm sure to let you know if it has helped with my dry skin I get in the winter (fingers crossed!!!)

PLEATS PLEASE PERFUME SAMPLE RRP £67.50 £100ml (sample size) again this was a freebie due to the fact I spent over a certain amount of money. First impressions of this sample was that it was light and fresh but after wearing it in for a few hours now it turns out to be quite musky with a warm undertone, perfect for winter! I'm not a huge fan on it at the moment but I can tell its one that with probably grow on me after wearing it a few times, so who knows I may even purchase the full size!

Last but not least I received CAUDALIE HUILE DEVINE OIL RRP £27.00 100ml (sample) lastly again a free sample I got, this is supposedly a multipurpose oil for both hair and skin not something I would purchase on my own but I will give it a fair trial and again you never know what may happen it may be love at first sight!!

So that's everything I received in my feel unique package if you want a full review on any of the products please let me know, and I'm going to be posting much much more! Hopefully at least 4 times a week! Yay! See you all soon, hope your enjoying December and indulging in both food and beauty products! Post soon! X

Travel Drugstore Haul & UPDATE!

Hi Lovelies!

I know, Boooo for me being over a month without a post! But I am here now so it's all fine and dandy! Obviously I think it would be best if I start off with my update, (but if you're too lazy to read and just want to look at the pretty pictures just scroll down a couple of inches ;) ) **to all the people who care to know** lately I have been very MIA on all my social networking sites (ie, twitter, tumblr, facebook, youtube and here) although I have been at large again on twitter and youtube I thought I owed you an explanation into what have I been up to! Well, firstly as you know (if you watch my videos) I started a new job about a month and a half ago, so I have been super busy with that and settling in, not only that but I have also been organizing ways to improve my videos. And I came to the conclusion that I needed better lighting and better video ideas so lately I have been writing down fab ideas when they come to me and also brain storm now and again! About the lighting... I FINALLY GOT SOME (woohoo!) So in my next video you should be able to see me more clearly and much more bright and breezy!

On to the haul!

After work this afternoon I quickly popped into Boots to pick up some bits and bobs as I am going on a 2 night cruise at the end of this month, and this is what I ended up getting! Enjoy!

Ted Baker Toiletry Bag
Zip emblem

The fist thing I bought was this beautiful Ted Baker toiletry bag, now I did want to buy one of these once before but I couldnt find a nice enough pattern until now! This gorgeous aqua and hot pink go so perfectly together it reminds you exactly of the ocean and the sea horses give it a very cute touch. (Ted Baker Toiletry Bag - £18.00 *Boots*)

And of course as I loved the toiletry bag so much I had to get the matching makeup bag, I needed a new makeup bag anyway so it was very convenient! (Ted Baker Small Makeup Bag - £8.00 *Boots*)

I also purchased a lovely pair of brown/black lashes, I wanted to buy a really natural pair as I will be getting up around 4am on the day I leave so I thought these would be perfect just to pop on instead of fussing around with mascara at 4am! (Eyelure Naturalites 070 - £5.45 *Boots*)

Quite obviously I bought some mini shampoo and conditioner and obviously it had to be Soap & Glory! (Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day - £2.50 pb* *Boots*)

Whenever I go into Boots I always have a habit of picking up nail polishes, and this trip was certainly not an exception I got myself 3 Revlon nail polishes *from left to right in pic 1* Dreamer, Electric and Charming  As you can see in pic 2 I have Charming on with my Essie Matte about you nail polish which is a fab mattefying topcoat, gives my nails a whole new look! (Revlon Polishes *3 for 2* £6.98 pb & Essie Matte about you £8.98 *Boots*)

And last but not least I got myself a small face cloth for my cleanser! (Boots Botanics Bamboo Face Cloth - £3.99 *Boots*)

So I hope you all enjoyed that mini haul! Ive still got over a week until i get on board but i am getting every so excited! As it stands, it is currently 5 to 12 at night, so this shall be my last goodbye for the day!

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Post soon, Love Dannie xxx

MAC Pro Long Wear Paint Pot in Let's Skate // Review

Hello my gorgeous readers!

Today I give you yet another review, but this time on a brand that everyone and their dog has raved about; MAC. Now all in all MAC is OK... even though I only have 3 of their products I just don't find them amazing. But I will go in depth about that in a different post.

So one of the items in my oh so minimal MAC collection was a recent purchase  I bought this little cutie when I visited London at the start of this year at the MAC counter in Harrods. (May I just mention that the Asian lady who works there is top notch so make sure you get her to help you out if you go!) I got one of the limited winter edition paint pots in Let's Skate. Now my first impression was that it is a beautiful baby pink with lots of violet shimmers, I thought it would brighten up my eyes during this very cold winter we are currently having in England. But when I got home I was oh so wrong, first try and first application I was ever so disappointed as this was my first proper nice MAC thing I owned and it just like crap on my eyelid. (excuse my french) I was even more disappointed that I payed £15.50 for this cruddy little tub and it did me no justice.

(Excuse my mighty chipped nails, I was supposed to get a manicure yesterday but it snowed! And excuse my just woken up bare face!!)

right - 2 applications // left - 1 application

So I waited.. a good couple of weeks until yesterday when I thought to myself "hmm maybe im putting it on wrong/ hmm maybe I didn't put enough on" but no such luck, I tried applying it with my fingers, a brush and a sponge and it still looked sheer but patchy, so I did a thicker coat, less sheer, but still ever so patchy. Now I don't know if I have a faulty pot or what but all in all I hate this product to the bone. At the counter I was umming and ahhing whether to get this one or Vintage Selection but glitter got the better of me so I purchased this one. I am so unhappy and I wish I saved my money for a couple of bags of caramelized cashews for me and my mum to share in stead.. at least I would of been satisfied! May I also mention that swatched on my hand it is not sheer or patchy at all and that there is a lot of glitter fall out with this product so mind out if you do decide to buy it! (I don't want to look like a fairy in the office MAC, its not quite the look im going for at work!)

Hopefully my next MAC purchase wont be as rubbish!!
Thanks for reading my lovelies,
Love Dannie xx

Update & Week In Pictures // #3

Hello my beauties!!

It has been a wee while since I blogged! (shocking I know) and if you've been following me on my twitter then you will know why, if you don't then ill give you a little heads up on whats been happening in the past month in the world of Dannie!

Firstly surprising to hear I finally found a job, which is the main reason why I've been so MIA these past weeks. I wont go into too much detail as I don't want everyone and their mum knowing where im located! haha. But I will say Im basically in an office job (boreeee) and yep it may not be the best job in the world but I needed one desperately as Im at that awkward age where I don't get child support as Im not a classed as a 'child' anymore and Im not old enough to claim benefits as Im not classed as an 'adult' either.. So im neither a child nor an adult, fantastic, So I am a nothing. Anyway I guess Im glad I got a job because when i turn 18 I didn't really want to turn to benefits, its just not the sort of thing I would want to do. So Im in it for the money on this one! Hopefully my beauty/makeup career kicks in soon because as you all know that is my real passion. I have been working 6 days a week and on the 7th I have been dancing, so a no-can-do on the blogging and videoing side! But now that I am on my shift hours I will be back on track with this and also Youtube. #firstdayoffin3weekswoohoo!

Anyways, want to know what I've been doing lately... in pictures? Well your in luck!

Left to Right - Prepped & Clean Dressing Table // Selfie, Mothers day meal // Obsession with the Professor Layton games // #snapbacksunday pic of my Mumma and myself // My healthy snacks (berrys, nuts & fruit & a breakfast bar) // My leaving presents from my old work (Cat wind-chime, xoxo mug, & a kitty card) // My takeaway cup dilemmas i.e. lipstick stains // My cloudy and I // My beautiful Eden and myself at dancing!

Thank you for reading! Don't forget to check out my oh so sexy links --
Twitter & Youtube

I will be filming tomorrow so make sure you check that out as well! Hope you had a lovely week and many more to come! Its currently 10:10pm its Ice cold and there is lots of snow outside (in the middle of march?!) I think its time for me to hit the hay! See you tomorrow ;)

Post soon! Love Dannie

Pssssst, And one last thing, Once I hit 100 subbies on youtube, you may or may not see a HUGE haul (keep your eyes peeled!) hushhush though it may be exclusive to my readers... who knows ;)

My Bath and Shower Routine!

Hello my lovelies,

I know its been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything! I've just been overwhelmingly busy with my youtube! But I promised myself I would blog more often, so here I am! Obviously by the title im going to show you all the products I use before, in and after my bath/shower so lets get started..

Before bath/shower

Before I hope into the shower or bath I obviously want to take my makeup off I like using the Johnson's face care daily essentials refreshing facial cleansing wipes (wow that's a mouth full!) I enjoy using these ones in particular as they aren't as harsh on my skin as other face wipes and their super wet which is a real plus for me! To take off my eye makeup I love love love the Lancomé Bi-facial just because it seems to get everything off with one swipe! And it doesn't sting! After all that I like to finish off with my trusty Liz Earle Hot cloth cleanse & Polish, this stuff is amazing its so creamy and lightweight I actually enjoy cleansing my face, its a pleasure to have on my skin. Thanks Liz! haha.

During bath/shower

As I have mentioned many many times before, this is my fave shampoo and conditioner Tresemmé Keratin smooth duo! I like to shampoo twice then leave the conditioner in for a good five minutes, during this time I wash and shave myself (forgot pictures!) I use the beautifully scented Soap and Glory Clean on me shower wash It makes my skin lovely and smooth and really hydrated!

After bath/shower

Once I am out of the bath/shower I pop my hair in a towel so it can partially dry, dry off my body and start with my body care. To moisturize my skin I use Johnson's body care 24h moisture extra-rich body lotion with added oil, as I have extremely dry skin this isn't enough moisture for me so I like to mix that body lotion with about 5 drops of the Coco skin vitamin E therapy oil it gives me a load of moisture and makes my skin so so soft! After I obviously put deodorant on as I want to prevent getting smelly especially if I have just showered. I use Soft & Gentle in melon, I like the smell and it does the job. (I don't want anything fancy on my pits anyway!) Once I have finished making myself all soft I like to moisturize my hands (as they like to crack a lot) I have been loving the smell of honey lately so I have been really enjoying the Boots own honey body butter its smells like heaven! (And it doesn't leave a greasy feeling on my hands once ive rubbed it in.)

I then take my hair down from the towel and by this time its usually about 50% dry, I like using Got2b guardian angel heat protection spray as a detangeler as it does a fab job at making me hair super easy to brush through and I like the fact that I've got heat protection too! I then brush my hair out with my Tangle teezer this brush is the bees knees, you need it in your life! It makes brushing thick, long bushy hair 100000 times easier! After brushing I go onto oil I first put in a heavy oil at the ends I am currently using Mogadore hair oil it does the job but I do prefer the Macadamia oil I just like the price difference for the same volume of product the Mogadore is around £5.00 while the Macadamia is around £30.00 so there is a huge difference in price. After applying the heavy oil to the ends of my hair I like to give my roots a bit of oil as well and I am loving the Macadamia hair oil spray its really light to I can get away with spraying it all over!

And that's it! I don't do an awful lot but enough to keep my skin happy!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will be posting my January favorites in a couple days so watch out for that!
Thanks for reading, post soon.

2013 Spring/Summer trend predictions

Hello my beautiful blog readers,

I thought today would be a perfect time to start predicting what the spring/summer tends will be. Now a couple of weeks ago we saw the golden globe awards, and to be honest the dresses definitely did not blow me away as much as they did last year but they did spill some clues on whats going to be hot in a couple months time.

Lucy Lui

As extremely beautiful Lucy Lui is, this dress did not suit her figure at all, I hated this dress!! The neckline is too misshaped, the massive bell design skirt makes her hips look way too big and the fishtail plat is very 2010. Although if she wore this exact print on a tight, figure hugging pencil dress with a high bun, I am sure she would of won the award for best dressed.

The print on this dress is to die for, I love how calming the light blue background colour is and it complements the huge floral print amazingly.

This large floral print is probably my first and most confident prediction, pastels are obviously going to come back in in spring as they do most years, but I feel they will definitely hit home in the summer. I can't get enough of this luxurious looking print, yum.

A few other lovely ladys who rocked the floral print on the runway:

Halle Berry

Again, this dress didn't wow me. The colour, print and shape of the dress is fabulous but the bust design makes her boobs look oddly shaped, where the print goes into a lighter pattern on the left side it gives the illusion of the left boob being much smaller than her right. Surly the desinger should of seen this when putting the piece together? Bad move on that part!

Ariel Winter

Before I start talking about that hidious piece of cloth shes wearing may I point out that her hair is beautiful and should of gotten more credit than it did.

Now, erh. This is discusting! The colours are all miss-matched the print looks like my two year old cousin could of drawn it and the tight sleeves make her upper arms look way bigger than they are. The shape of this dress is OK, not amazing but I hate the rest.

The only thing that stopped me from throwing up was her hair and makeup because they were gorgous, its just such a shame about that dress!

Sienna Miller

This print isn't as bad still not great but not bad, I adore the colours of the embroidered flowers and the shape of the dress makes her look very super model esque. Her hair makes her look 50 years old but other than that its a beautiful piece!

Although I like the shape im not too keen on the top half its shaped very oddly. Am I the only one who looks at this and thinks this print/fabric should belong as my bed covers? Just me? OK then!

//

The Second trend that I think will definitely hit Summer/Autumn the most is the very Gothic/Victorian style, we have seen this style on the run way of Alexander McQueen's pre-fall collection.

These were my favorite picks of the whole collection I love the fact they are all very mono-toned and it reminds me very much of the old Victorian church style, I love the fact the whole collections very dark and Gothic. And I think this will be another big hit in 2013!

I hope you enjoyed my predictions, If you have an predictions you'd like to make make sure to comment and let me know! Thanks for reading

Review // TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo & conditioner

Hello my lovely's, (why do I always seem to start my posts off with that? Seems to be a habbit!)

So, before I start I think it would be appropriate to let you know about my hair in the past how much I dye it yada yada. From the age of 14 I started to dye my hair, so it was 2009 and that stage of my life I was exploring with makeup and hair so I could feel and look a little different. I dyed my hair red (using Schwarts kopft Live colour XXL Red Passion 43), now my goal at the time was getting the brightest red hair possible! It started off as a dark burgundy/brownish red (as my natural hair is really dark brown anyway, so getting it bright red without bleach took some time!) after a good two years of getting my hair super bright red it got to a point where my hair was damaged and brittle and the red practically faded after one wash. So at the start of 2012 I thought I should ditch the red hair dye and give my hair a little rest and pamper it with the loads of different hair masks I dyed my hair my natural hair colour so I didn't have to dye it again. After a month of pampering my hair I wanted to try dying it again but this time blonde, and even though the hairdressers told me "you'll never get the red out of your hair without your hair falling out!" Turns out hairdressers don't know much, well mine didn't anyway. I currently use Live Colour XXL Max Blonde (00B). But my hair seems to take to colour pretty well, Im lovely and blonde and no hair fall out. Although as you may know any amount of hair dye will damage your hair just a little.

I have never really found a shampoo/conditioner that really wowed me and was a real miracle to my hair. And before last week I was sure they didn't exist. I even tried the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo & Conditioner combo that everyone seems to be raving about so I bought the big bottles expecting some sort of magic to repair my dry, bleached hair. But it made my hair so so so straw like it felt like I washed my hair with bleach, I hated it! Then last week I found the miracle I was looking for TRESemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner combo. Wowowow I can not express to you how amazing this duo is! I was a bit skeptical at first as I found it in the shop Savers on sale for £2.99 each, I thought they wouldn't do much and just be an OK Shampoo & Conditioner that I had experienced many many times before with other brands. (incl; V05 smooth me softly duo & Lush Squeaky Green Shampoo bar with Retread Conditioner) But turns out they are my holy grail duo!

£2.99 for 500ml is an absolute bargain if you ask me, on the back it reads;

Our Philosophy
From our origins in salons we've always had a simple vision: to create stylist-tested, salon quality products without the salon price tag, so you can experience that salon feeling everyday.

This Product
Transforms your hair to be smoother, straighter and easier to style with New Tresemme keratin smooth, Infused with Keratin, each product reduces frizz and leaves hair gorgeously sleek and manageable  Tresemme keratin smooth shampoo/conditioner nourishes each strand to leave hair gorgeously smooth, shiny and manageable. Formulated without sodium chloride - suitable for use after a salon keratin treatment. Gently enough for colour treated hair.

Whatever this combo says it does, it actually does! It makes my hair smooth, tangle free, nourished and it also defines my curls. It gets rid of my frizz and makes my hair look fabulously luxurious like I have naturally beautiful hair. And that's all after one use! It makes your hair feel so so clean and soft, I like to pair it with the  Moroccan hair oil to give my hair extra moisture.

Both the Shampoo and Conditioner have these handy dandy pumps to dispense the product that you will find on all of the Tresemme hair care range. It makes it much easier to get the product out and much more hygienic, not like the Lush hair care which is a pain in the bum to use without getting water in the product, grr.

I literally can't tell you how much I LOVE these products they have changed my hair condition forever. Everytime I wash my hair it feels like I've just been to the hairdressers and I've had a moisture mask put on it, amazing!! The shampoo is very easy to lather up and it doesn't leave a residue on the hair likes most shampoos do, the conditioner is basically a hair mask in a bottle and makes my hair tangle free, they are both beautifully scented with the smell of a luxury salon and leaves the hair not weighed down just lovely and clean. I would recommend this to everyone, I love it.

Now if you don't mind, I would like some alone time with my babies...

hehe, GO BUY THIS DUO NOW, GO GO GO!!!

Post soon, Love Dannie! xx

Whats in my handbag? // 2013

Hiya my lovelys!

Today I thought id show you whats in my bag, I know this tag has gone round youtube time and time again and its coming back! So my bag changes as the season changes so maybe I will do a summer version when the seasons change and the weather gets a little hotter.

My bag is a dog tooth/ hound tooth print, I have featured it many times in my blog before so you can find more about it here, I talk about where I got it from and how much and things so if you like it go check it out.
Also I apologies for the heavy picture content!
Take a sneak peak and lets get started! ...

Its a medium sized bag and I feel it seems to fit everything in just right and without it being too heavy. As you can see I don't take too many things, just the essentials. I also usually keep a water bottle to keep me hydrated throughout the day but I couldn't find one to put in for this post, so just pretend there's one there!

Umbrella
Obviously, as I live in England it rains practically 90% of the time so I always have to be prepared for a downfall. This umbrella is from Primark and it was £4.00 im pretty sure they still stock it so go check it out if you want.

Purse
I got this pure for Christmas but im pretty sure its also from Primark, not sure if its still in stock but its a pretty simple purse that you can find in most department stores, It has lovely gold hardware and two places to put your loose change, as you can see in the main one i put all my receipts. My name tag is actually from my cousins wedding she had them as name tags around the wine glasses and they were doubled up as table placements as well, cute idea.

Vanity Items
I don't like to take much makeup/toiletry's with me as my makeup seems to stay put bar my lipstick and carrying a huge makeup bag around will just weigh my bag down even more. I keep my all time favorite perfume in my bag No'5 Chanel Paris, I am in love with the muskyness of this perfume, It will always be my favorite! I also keep my lipstick in my bag, obviously swapping it out with each day so I can top up thought the day. Today im wearing Bourjois Paris lipstick in 01 sweet kiss. Also, I keep a nail file which will come in handy when i get a split nail.

Notepad & pen
I like to keep my diary with me at all times just in case i get inspired with a new YouTube video idea or a new post idea for this blog! Also, I obviously have my diary with me to keep myself organised though out the day and to make sure I don't forget anything i need to do!

Keys
And last but no means least, the most important thing in my bag, my keys. Self explanatory really! Got my house key, bike key and other key charms!

This is how I wear my bag! I hope you enjoyed seeing whats in my handbag!
Post soon, Love Dannie xxx
